The Seabreeze Hotel is proud to partner with Rumble on the Reef, an action packed sports festival based along the Great Barrier Reef coastline in Mackay, Queensland.
This is a collaborative event where hundreds of talented skaters, riders and surfers descend on Mackay for two jam packed weeks!

Heralded as one of Australia’s great Blues and Roots performers Ash Grunwald will be hitting the road performing songs from his 9 studio album, 3 live albums and his new album “Push The Blues Away” with Josh Teskey released on November 13th via Ivy League.

COVid 4740 Community Resilience Project
Sugar Town Music developed the idea of a Concept Album, engaging local artists who provided their time and skills on a voluntary basis, demonstrating resilience and solidarity within the local music community to deliver an even stronger message of hope, humanity, resilience, and respect for our cultural diversity. The concept Album COViD 4740 represents experiences both common to all and some of those unique experiences of COVID-19, and is dedicated to supporting our local community to navigate through our current and future challenges.
The development of the album facilitated 54 local Musicians of the Mackay region, a number of music industry professionals across Australia and Social scientists’ whom have endorsed the concept, process and have committed to evaluating the outcomes.
Over the course of three days, Sugar Town Music will be holding live shows at The Seabreeze Hotel at Lamberts Beach to celebrate the launch of the Concept Album. Sales from both the live shows and CD purchases will go towards Support Act, Samartian House & the Alive organisation to support the work they do in mental health & well-being for the arts industry (Support Act), Domestic violence in our local community (Samaritan House) and in Youth suicide prevention in our local community (Alive).
Each seated show is unique and includes a diverse lineup of acts, including:
